Rain, Rain Came Today! 28 Jun 2014

Sister Crossland's prediction came true - it rained by the weekend!  It came down all afternoon, giving drink to thirsty plants, shrubs, flowers, and trees.  The clouds continued to linger in the sky as if they had more to drop.  The air is crisp and clear - makes you want to snuggle!  Or go for a walk/run!  (Whichever attitude you may be in.)

The day was busy in the temple as over 300 endowments were completed.  That is a little under what was accomplished for the whole week!  Sessions were every half hour and we overlapped with the other shift to accommodate the patrons.  Being busy was good as it kept us on our toes with no time to think up things, etc.  We had patrons in that spoke Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.  It is interesting to hear the different languages and associate with these saints.  Our exposure to nationalities has increased dramatically!

This evening was movie night for the missionaries.  We watched "Remember The Titans."  Even though I have seen it before, it was nice to watch with the others and enjoy comments and laughter here and there.

The rest of the evening was quiet with washing our temple clothes and finishing up the primary booklet for the visitor's centre.  Nelson's family called via face time and we had a wonderful time talking with them.  Pearson had just returned from scout camp and told us all about his adventures in earning the rowing merit badge, the wilderness survival merit badge, and the environmental science merit badge.  Did I forget one?  I also finished a book and Dad researched Costco via the web.
